She followed seven different women over a five year period, experiencing their struggles and attempts to overcome the generational poverty that has overtaken a large percent of Troy's female headed families.
She says: “As a journalist and activist I have dedicated my life to exploring the how and why of class inequity in America. I am concerned with the internalized social messages that will live on for generations after our economic and social policies catch up with the reality of living on the bottom rung of America's upwardly mobile society.”

Halloween is soon, so I hope you’ve thought about your « horrible » costumes ;) You better hurry up to chose them, ‘cause I’m sure that just before Halloween, there’s no way that good costumes will be still out there.
